Our tourguide recommanded this restaurant for our lunch. When I saw the prices I found it a bit high so I decided to go for the tomato soup and share the chicken appetizer with my friend. The soup was the best soup I have ever eaten and the chicken appetizer was super tasty! We ate here with 10 persons and... More

Our G-Adventures guide recommended the Tree House and he was right! We had our MP tour group and all really enjoyed our meals. A good time get-together. Most of us speak English but that wasn't a problem. Service was good, and the food even better!

This restaurant is worth the hike up the steep streets. Excellent service, delicious food and friendly atmosphere. They have the option of providing box Lunch to take with you to Machu Picchu and they deliver it fresh to the hotel at 5AM before you go.

We had a lovely meal here after an exciting day in Manchu Picchu. The establishment is small, but quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. English was not a problem. The menu is even printed in English. The number of selections is not large, but they are varied and will certainly please most people. Although I am not Vegan,... More

We had a great time. Excellent service and delicious food. We loved the quinoa salad, the trout and the fig toffee cake for dessert.

After hearing so much about this place before even arriving in Aguas Calientes, I was extremely disappointed with the poor value of this overpriced food. We ate there after trekking and figured we'd treat ourselves to the 'top-rated restaurant in town.' BIG MISTAKE. The alpaca meat was tender but the portions are small for the high price. The sides (vegetables,... More

We found this place by chance, while walking around Aguas Calientes and remembered that someone had mentioned it to us as a good restaurant to try. The time being barely midday and us being still a bit full from a rather consistent breakfast, we decided to come in for a soup on a rainy day. It was actually wonderful !... More

I'm a sucker for following the top trip advisor restaurants. However, after our great meal/service, I believe this place deserves it's high marks. After our four day hike along the Inka Trail, we craved a solid meal and a cocktail to unwind. The Tree House is located along an upstairs ally, which highlights Aguas Calientes' charm. Their menu is small,... More

We ate at the Tree House twice since it offered great food with a quiet location. The quinoa salad was excellent as was the Alpaca burger. It is hidden away, as the name suggests, and they don't need to have someone on the street trying to pull you in --- which says it all.

Beautiful place. Dim light and wooden decor make for an intimate atmosphere, definitely a good idea for a date night. The service was nothing spectacular but efficient - quick, careful and polite. I had alpaca with blue cheese sauce, vegetables and sweet potato mash and my partner had chicken fillet with caramelized onions and potato mash. First thing that you... More
