Mesa 7 has delicious international and Peruvian food!! I had the Pesto and my fiancé had the alpaca with spaghetti and Melissa (our amazing host) accommodated my food and was really thoughtful with her suggestions. The restaurant also has a very beautiful view of the Pueblo!! Love it!!

This restaurant is second floor with a terrace area that overlooks Aquas Caliente. The food was really delicious, with beautiful presentation. The service was fast and attentive. The prices were very reasonable and not overpriced like some of the restaurants in this area. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. Being on the second floor, you feel a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the street below and yet you can have a view of it from the terrace. Everything was perfect.

This is the second time I come to this restaurant. Both the first time I came alone, and now that I have come with my partner, Jacky has treated us spectacularly. I loved both the attention she gave us and the food, which was spectacular. One thing: order the menu, which are very delicious dishes and come with dessert ❤️ However, what I liked the most was that they gave my partner an extra dessert for his birthday ❤️ I will only say thank you very much and if I come to Aguas again Hot, I'll stop by Table 7 again❤️

This restaurant is located on the upper levels of Aguas Calientes close to the plaza. It has views of the bridge, mountains and the market. It has young staff who are polite and multilingual. The decor is simple and has a local feel. The restaurant is compact. The food is traditional Peruvian cuisine and is plentiful in size. The drinks are good. The prices are excellent. I tried a dessert of pancakes that was large in portions. Overall, it was a very good experience with nice views from which to enjoy your meal.

We grabbed a couple of excellent cups of coffee and warm empanadas with meat for a quick snack after visiting Machu Picchu.
For the train ride back to Ollantaytambo and the bus onward to Cusco, we had the kitchen prepare us a couple of chicken and avocado sandwiches 'to go'. They tasted really good too - so all in all, Mesa 7 (right across from the train station) serves as a perfect supply point for the return journey from Machu Picchu.

I got sick to my stomach and Melisa took care of us super well. He recommended that I eat. I even talk to the boss so they make me a special chicken soup that's not on the menu.

The food was wonderful. I ordered an entry trout ceviche, with a rice, chicken pot as the main dish and the banana "bolinho" as dessert. I'm not even gonna talk about the home chincha that was delicious. Amazing experience. I highly recommend.

The first stop to this little cafe was necessitated by a pouring rain. We waited out the deluge with a breakfast which was hot and delicious & moderately priced. The servers were friendly and responsive. Has a great little view of the river and is located at one end of the pedestrian bridge leading to the train station stop. We returned a few days later at the end of a long day at MP for some hot tea and French fries snack. Perfect again. Highly recommended.

Mesa 7 is right across the pedestrian bridge from the train station. It's where our guide for our soon after Machu Picchu tour recommended we eat lunch. I was very appreciative of the recommendation because my girlfriend and I both loved this place. In fact, she eats fish 90 percent of the time for her protein and will never forget this place because she said it was the best Trout she has ever had. Everything else was good or great, but that is high praise from her. I had the alpaca, and it was delicious. They also start you off with some chips and corn.
The staff was attentive and so nice. It was a satisfying way to start one of the most memorable tours of our life. Hope you like it too :-)

I didn't expect the food to be this good at a tourstic spot like Aguas Caliente. I had Lomo Saltados and it was delicious. The food was hot and the meat was soft. The service was prompt and quick; also the server was very kind and attentive. The seats at the balcony are the must. The view toward the street and the sound of water flowing were perfect ways to finish Machu Picchu trip.

My friends and I were recommended this place by a waiter we met in Cusco, and ended up going for lunch for two days in a row because it was so great!! We loved the sopa de zapallo, aji de gallina (our first experience with typical Peruvian food), pastas and pizza, and the passionfruit cake and pancakes for dessert. Our waiter Jose was the owner and was super friendly and kind. The restaurant has a relaxing environment and after eating we hung around for a bit to talk and enjoy the view of the river and mountains outside.
