Simple small hut for good food, fresh ingredient and great taste. Tried the BLT baguette, satay pork with rice and vegetable soup. Price is reasonable.

The restaurant is small but clean and staff very friendly. Overall, we did not enjoy our dinner much as the food was rather salty and oily and the taste/cooking not to our liking though we ordered common bajak dishes. Also the prices were higher compared...More
The husband-wife duo came out and explained the dishes, their flavours and personalised the order for us! The lake-lobster was divine!!! As was the fish bbq!
I was somewhat disappointed given this restaurant's high ranking in Tuk Tuk. I went for dinner and ordered the pork sangsang. It came with rice and kangkong. The meal is more expensive than other local restaurants and is supposed to come with mixed steamed vegetables...More
Walked out here to try the food, wasn't disappointed. The grilled fish was super fresh and had amazing charcoal flavours with sambal and some lime. Photo doesn't do it justice. She also made the avocado shake without chocolate at my request (although it was too...More

We googled for restaurants on Samosir Island and this was one of the ones with great reviews and for good reason. You could almost miss it if you didn't know where its location but we stopped in for lunch and returned the next day for...More
I had the Ikan Arsik and fresh water lobster. For me one of the best dishes I've ever had and I wouldn't mind traveling back to lake toba just to eat it again!
This is a small family run restaurant. The first time we had lunch here, it was traditional batak fish "Ikan Arsik" and avocado salad (fresh!). Really good and fresh fish. The chef, who is the wife/mother of the family is friendly, speaks good english and...More
