Chose this Italian restaurant after It seemed to be rather popular on the island... The first thing that surprised us was that we were and remained the only guest at the restaurant while eating there. It's rather hard to find, so maybe that's why. The restaurant is set up very nicely and the service is good. I ate spaghetti bolognaise,... More

We dived in to this attractive and surgically clean place for a fast lunch before the ferry simply because one of our party fancied pizza (nobody else much cared either way), but it turned out to be a perfect choice. Four of the best pizzas I've ever tasted arrived as fast as you could wish, leaving enough time to stay... More

This place is a gem. The pizza is great. I (an American) and my girlfriend (an Aussie) have eaten here three times in the week we've been on Koh Phangan. The crust is excellent, the sauce is very good. I had a pepperoni and sausage the first time, pepperoni and gorgonzola the second. My girlfriend had the Rustini (vegetarian) plus... More

Casa Italiana has great pizzas. There are also lovely pasta dishes. We received a very warm welcome from the staff especially from Plao the owner who looked after us very well for our stay in Thong Sala.

I have never had a more unpleasant experience in a restaurant in Thailand. The place was empty and for very good reason. The owners are jaded, uninterested and rude and the menu expensive and poorly cooked. Want to use the Internet, or plug in a mobile phone? That will cost you an additional five euros, roughly the cost of my... More

Just had a coffee there. Yes, a nice cup of Illy-coffee. Fine. I know it has to be imported, but 95Baht is just way too expensive!!!. There are many other options nearby to drink a good cup of freshly brewed coffee for a normal price, (45 to 70baht). Try, for example, the terrific Nira's Bakery, just around the corner.
