Service was horrible, the Thai people are generally friendly but can't say the same for the owners of this place. The food was very average and they had no idea about the bill. Cats were hounding us at the table for food which for someone who is allergic could be a massive problem. The place was so expensive too paid... More

Out of season saw this place ventured in as there were Europeans already dinning. So assumed it was a good place to eat. We that's my mate and I ordered food at the same time. I received mine first then started to eat my meal. Half way through my meal, my mates meal turns up. And it wasn't what he... More

This restaurant has a bit of everything on the menu, and seating options; A great little bar upstairs with covered outdoor seating, also indoor air conditioned areas. The drinks are great quality, and the food is very good. During high season, they cook bbq fish every day. In low season we had to order our fish the day before, and... More

Hi. we travel as a family (5 year old kid with us) and we have been in the restaurant yesterday. To be honest: It is not worth the money. It is quiet expensive and not tasty. You get a potato with the fish but it was not well done. The fish was not the one we selected and we had... More

Lady came across the road as we were walking into the village, gave us 10% discount vouchers and asked us to try their food. We all had fruit shakes, they were nice but took quite a while to arrive. Steak sandwich a bit light on the steak & quite gristly, chicken baguette was poor, yellow curry absolutely fine and the... More

Terrible service, took 30 mins just to get a drink. Served all food without utensils, we had to ask when they gave us our dishes. Even worse, my friend and I got food poisoning from their rice. Overall just a terrible experience and there are much better restaurants to eat at on Lanta for cheaper.

Slow service, food not served at the same time to the four of us around the table. Fries came after rest of the dish was finished and the ordered red curry came out green. Naan bread hard as bricks and they ran out of rice.

Alama is a nice looking restaurant on the northern side of Kantiang. The staff are friendly and attentive, though their English could do with a little more practice (mainly because my Thai is non-existent). Good choice of fresh fish dishes in addition to the standard Thai menu... was a little surprise when my calamari turned out to be a whole... More

We happened across this place for dinner and it was great! Lovely staff, who were very welcoming and good fun. The food was delicious - the chicken satay was one of the best we have had this holiday (and we are a little obsessed with it so had it at least once or even twice each day!!!) - although there...
