Hacienda Cusin is set among incredible landscaping. Walking through the property you felt like I was in a hidden garden, with cottages scattered here and there. Everywhere I walked there was a new discovery - a water feature, a bench under an enormous tree, and a few llamas too! The rooms were well-designed, with good lighting and multi-paned windows (with... More

This was a lunch stop for the tour I was on visiting the area of Otavalo So I can only comment on the meal that was prepared for us since we did not see a menu. They were ready for us, 22 people plus 3 guides. The meal was a heart of Palm ceviche( remember the popcorn on the table... More

We had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the wonderful place. The lounge area has a huge fireplace where you can sit and enjoy a pre dinner or after dinner drink. The staff was very friendly and the service was good as well. We all had excellent food and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful grounds, remarkable rooms (most with fireplaces lit for you at night); pleasant restaurant. Near to Otavalo but quietly on the edge of a smaller town near Lago San Pablo. Much to do in area - and a great haven to return to.

Owner Nicolas Millhouse has created a marvelous atmosphere at this restored 17th Century estate. It's basically a living museum, full of gorgeous artworks. Attached is a "monastery" that is actually a fantasy structure built only 15 years ago, but blends in perfectly with the original house. The food is excellent, and the staff helpful and attentive.

The Hacienda is one of the nicest places I had dinner in Ecuador. The place is extremely beautiful, the food was fantastic and so was the service. Next time we'll be in Ecuador we would also love to stay in the hotel.

We stayed overnight at Hacienda Cusin as part of a tour group, so we had dinner and breakfast in their small restaurant. The dinner was very good: a nice fresh garden salad (we were assured that the veggies were washed with purified water) and a good steak. Breakfast was healthy but very minimal (scrambled egg, yogurt, granola, coffee, juice), but... More

Went there for lunch. Good food but most impressed with the lovely gardens. We did not stay here but the facility seemed very nice and we peaked in a couple of the rooms which looked well appointed and authentic. There were signs it was in need of a little TLC outdoors.
