Sidro was a recommendation from our host during our stay in Rovinj, and we were not disappointed at all. She gave us other options, but Sidro was the one who looked less expensive and very cozy. The waiter was at the end of his shift, but was very attentious and helped us choose a wine to go with our meal.... More

Dined there on recommendation and left rather disappointed. The food (steak/grilled meat platter) was average and although the service was efficient, it was very impersonal. In fairness it was a busy evening but little effort was made to engage with the customers. Nice place to 'people watch' but the restaurant did not stand out from the host of similar restaurants... On a recent holiday to Rovinj, my husband and I ate one night at this restaurant. What a disappointment. The staff were uninterested and the food was very poor. At the end of our meal when we asked for the bill we were told that their visa machine wasn't working so we had to pay by cash. Would not recommend... More

Food was okay but it was a little too expensive for what we got. It was okay but nothing special.. The staff is very disinterested too, they're not unfriendly but just not interested in helping you..

Sidro is the only place on 'riva' worth of visit, which offers good food and service. The others are just too bad. Sidro has traditional offer, nothing too creative, but food is well prepared and service is fast. You can sit outside, during the summer season or longer and have a great view on sea and people walking along.

We order a whole fresh locally caught fish to be baked. This was done while we had a tasty starter, some beer and watched the people go by. It was delicious with some nice potatoes and tomatoes cooked around it. Perfect with a bottle of local San Thomasso Malvasia wine. Also very friendly service.

We ate at lunch time on a warm sunny day which gave it a head start. The service was professional, if forgetful when it came to our wine order. Dietary requirements were not an issue. we had a generous salad and plate of grilled fish. Keep it simple and don't come with lofty expectations. This is a basic harbourfront fish... More

There are a bunch of such restaurants over there with the same cuisine and quality. Just a good place to sit and enjoy of view at old city and harbour. That's it!

The restaurant has a nice selection of sea food dishes. I recommend tuna carpaccio and any gnocchi dish. The waiter was very professional, helpful and polite. We were very pleased with the wine h recommended. The location is great, in the center by the sea.

The three of us were seated half hearted at a table at first. The service was luckily getting better by the way! One had a great pepper steak, the other two of us shared a mediocre mixed grill. This place is the favorite place in Rovinj for one of my friends, she is obviously choosing better dishes! The guy at... More
