Amazing desserts and tea, very reasonably priced. Friendly staff. They hire deaf/hard-of-hearing staff so it is for a very good cause. Would love to see more stores like this in China.

We stopped in for coffee early one morning and were surprised to find a very cozy atmosphere and really great coffee. We didn't eat anything, but the menu also sounded very nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back.

Happened upon this place while wandering to the 3 Pagodas (long walk) from our hotel through the old town. Ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and it was good. This is a better place to order sweets - my friend ordered the banana pancakes and they were also good. The mint pie and the muffins are stars! Yummy Yunnan coffee and... More

For an expat or a traveler coming through, The Sweet Tooth is a sweet treat of Western options for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. My husband and I always make a point to have a long breakfast/brunch there so we can enjoy the french press coffee, banana pancakes, and whatever else we're wanting while we read & chat. The desserts are... More

Quiet, family friendly place. No smoking was an added benefit. 7 of us, who where in Dali to backpack, went here for breakfast. Everything was great. They had pancakes and French toast which 88 did not offer. Scones are amazing too! The bacon was a treat. None of us were disappointed with our choices. A lot of food for your... More

This place offers a selection of home-made Western (mostly American) style desserts, as well as some drinks (coffee, smoothies, etc.). It has the feeling of a family-run place and the staff are all really friendly. We also thought it was great that it offers employment and training to the deaf, which is a big deal--particularly in China. Going back to... More

We particularly love the mint pie and the peanut butter pie. After eating spicy noodles or greasy fried dumplings, sweet tooth is a nice place to balance out the favors. The staff is very friendly. A great place for families, a date or just to satisfy your sweet tooth! Also, for any travel needs (bus tickets, site seeing, etc), visit... More
