It had great atmosphere. The Étouffée was to die for but the service was terrible. Not enough servers. They worked hard but stretched to thin!

I started with the fried alligator. Crunchy and well seasoned. The sauce was a little sweet for me so I asked for tartar sauce which had a great and unique flavor. I followed that up with the Lulu platter that had soft shell crab, blackened grouper, and Cajun pasta with shrimp, crawfish and sausage. The pasta sauce was creamy and... More

Enjoyed supper there as we traveled to Talladega. Wonderful combo platters so diner could try 3 treats. Husband devoured soft shelled crabs along side well-seasoned black-eyed peas and gumbo. He applauded it all. Mine was grilled shrimp with great grits and gumbo. Very friendly service but crowded seating, not exactly a date place but wonderful supper.

A business associate who likes the place recommended it. I ordered and Turbodog and my wife had and Ultra. The food looked great on the other tables and we were anxiously waiting for ours. I ordered the Ya Ya which had a very good flavor. My wife had no complainants about her Blackened Grouper. We will return.

There were more than 100 restaurants to choose from in the area we were staying. As is our practice, we checked our discount options and found an online coupon using our Entertainment.com app for Crazy Cajun and opted to go there because of it and the good trip advisor reviews. The waiter stated that they would not honor the online... More

Small place in strip mall with good food. The food has some zip to it so if you don't like spicy ask the servers first before you order your sampler or meal. My wife had the crab cake entrée and it was excellent, big crab-cake with good coleslaw. Had the Seafood pasta dish (Rotini) that was great with some heat.... More

This was my first trip to Birmingham and I wanted to experience some authentic Cajun food. Crazy Cajuns did not disappoint. The first sight upon entering the door was the huge plate of boiled crawfish on a table. I ordered the shrimp gumbo and a sample of jumbalya. Both were outstanding! My sister was with me who was not familiar... More

Shrimp, oysters, crawfish, fish served in all possible combinations. Boiled, saute, breaded in gumbo, jambalaya, platters with red rice, fries and a great selection of bottled domestic and craft beers. And I haven't even come close to giving the menu justice. Absolutely a huge collection of dishes. I must caution, however, that most selections are very spicy (well duh, it's... More

Was in town for a college visit and wanted something other than a chain restaurant, and boy did we get it. Small, packed, yet very attentive staff. I had the jambalaya and my daughter had the gumbo. Both were great with that sneaky burn that comes after you eat it. I will definitely be coming back if she goes to... More

Looking for some good Cajun food and crawfish? Crazy Cajun's in Inverness is it. Try the red bean and rice too!
