Absolutely 100% the best restaurant in Birmingham, Chinese or otherwise. The owner is so incredibly sweet, and she always remembers you when you return! She even knows my order (and my mom's order) by heart, and always remembers that my boyfriend orders coffee. Just that would be enough to recommend it, but the food is also amazing! They have a... We ordered our food. We were only 2 miles away. Ordered food for 4 people. I ordered at 7:09 and was told 30 minutes. I think they forgot the order. Finally at 9:15 our food was delivered after calling to ask where was our food. The food was good, but they should have not charged us or given us a... More

The owner was very nice, greeting and taking my order. But the food was sub-par at best, I do not plan to eat here again.

We stopped in here for a quick bite after drinks when we were in the Five Points area of Birmingham. The decor is typical of Chinese restaurants. There are booths and tables, most of which were empty because we went in after normal dinner hours. Luckily they are open until 11 on Saturdays which works out well with the bars... More

This restaurant is located in Five Points South, where there are some hotels and restaurants/bars. Some bus lines pass on the 20th St S. It is possible to order food online or by phone (and I think that they can deliver it, as I saw a delivery guy with a bike). I had lunch in this restaurant on Friday. The... More

This is a good place for tasty Chinese food. I normally order beef and broccoli and the meal is flavorful. The egg drop soup is pretty good too. I dine here every time I'm in town. It's not much to the building but the location is close to the UAB campus and is in the heart of 5 Points South.

We visit the UAB area often and our "go to" place for great Chinese food is the New China Town Restaurant. We always order takeout and have it delivered to our UAB area hotel. Their food is simply delicious and their portions are generous (I recommend you specify the small/medium size when you order). They have a wide variety of... More
