'El Charrua' has the best rep for pizzerias in San Pedro. Although I only tried this one, it seems deserved. Are here twice and loved it both times. It’s a small joint and usually doesn’t have place to sit. Go ahead and do a takeaway and enjoy some nice thin crust pizza!
We wandered in here while it was pouring, as it was nearby and we wanted something not too heavy. They were full, but knew which table would clear soon, and were very efficient in cleaning, taking orders and delivering the food. We ordered pasta and...pizza, and both were very nice. Small restaurant with limited seating so be prepared to wait a little while around dinner time. They don’t have toilet or a sink to wash your hands. Hand sanitiser is available at cashier area. Credit cards accepted. Menu has pizza, pasta and soft drinks -...no alcoholic drinks on the menu. The pizzas are made in conventional oven but are decent. I assume due to how quickly they come out base is precooked. Thin and crispy base, good sauce and cheese. Two sizes - individual or family, sizes are on the wall. Can do half and half also. Capriciosa and the arugula & prosciutto were our favourites. They’re not super authentic, but thats understandable w the ingredients available here. Pasta was okay, nothing to rave about. Was not planning on eating pizza while in Chile, but this place has a really delicious pizza. We got ourselves half-half pizza with two vegetarian options and I can only recommend to try the pizza with avocado.
They have two outlets facing each other as space is less but taste and quality is so good Can't imagine, in desert we can find such good pizza that too with vegetarian options
This is a perfect spot for a casual bite either for lunch or dinner. The thin crust on all pizzas it top notch. A great place to eat and share a few pies among a large group!
