This Mediterranean restaurant was a pleasant surprise with reasonably priced, reasonable quality, large portions. The decor is better than average but not exceptional. I had the filet with bacon, onions and roasted tomatoes. The filet consisted of large chunks of medium rare steak. The bacon was not the thin slices I'm used to but large pieces of pork belly. Above everything, what marks this restaurant is their commitment with keeping a high quality standard. Never had a negative surprise there, nor things out of what they should be. This restaurant is convenient but unfortunately is not very special. The esfiha's are good, and soups are ok, but overall, not too impressive. We have eaten in the restaurant and also had delivery, each experience about the same.

Arabesco is a syrian-lebanese cuisine settled for many years in Rua Homem de Melo with Monte Alegre in Perdizes district just a few blocks from the Catholic University and perhaps this the reason why there are so many students there on the lunch time.
