Have whatever the chef tells you to eat. It was unusual and delicious. Get there early as there was a queue from 7.45 onwards. Great sashimi and sushi.

We ate a la carte, which is already an indication of quality. Restaurants that only do rodizio/buffet/AYCE formulas are better for price/quantity but generally not quality. The food is really very good, but the place is quite crowded, so do reserve and make sure you bring your hearing aid...

Ask. Or the chef's special at the end - foi gras; also ask for the caviar sushi. Just simply delicious and among the best I have ever tasted. This is no cafe but a great sushi restaurant. Small place always full so go early or sit at the bar. Super expensive though worth every penny.

Small hole in the wall place, fresh sashimi, but small selection. No lunch special, the hot roll I ordered with shrimp didn't even come with real shrimp but the imitation shrimp at 32 Reais for 5 pieces. Price is like any other sushi restaurant. This is my first time and last time for me. JAm in Itaim is much better.

First of all, this is not a cafe, it is a Japanese restaurant. Second, there are three separate locations in Itaim, literally one beside the other (one is Nagayama Cafe, the other is Naga, the third I don't know the name). The menus vary in each one but if you know the menus you can actually order what one of... More

Went there for a business dinner with a group of foreigners who were looking for investments in Sao Paulo. We order a little bit of everything that the waiter suggested us as portions are really small and they don't serve those combos with more than 20-something pieces. Food was just good, but nothing different from Japanese restaurants that cost half... More

I have dined at the Nagayama cafe twice in a week. The salmon dishes were delicious , same as the scallops and the Temakis we ordered. The gyiosas were some of the best I have sampled, the service was attentive and the ambience very cool.

One of the best sushi I have ever eaten but it is expensive. That are some specials for a better value.

Simply the BEST! I try to go at least once a week. Fresh fish ALWAYS. Best Sushiman staff ever seen in São Paulo or maybe the World (I never been to Japan, so excuse me). Have to get early, because always crowded. Lines of 1 hour and up. They don't make reservations. Price the same as all Sushi restaurants in... More
