After a while we returned today to certify that it is still one of our favorites in town. Great food and service.

We arrived early and got a table without waiting. The service was very friendly and the waiter always offered to help and guide us. The food was so good that my wife declare it as hers favorite. Starters for share were crab and rosbife. My...ribs and hers duck were full of flavors and balanced. Deserts amazing too. What a dinner!More

Certainly worth a visit. the place is comfortable well decorated with their friendly ostriches. Service was friendly and informative. One on the best bloody Mary’s and Vodka Mules in São Paulo. we went for the set menu. The snacks are excellent and most of the...starters maintain the standard some like the prawn is amazing. I do think its a bit too much food. its not cheap but worth the visit.More

Everything was perfect : the ambiance (decoration, music), the staff (nice, helpful, explaining with details and passion), and of course the food. The costela is fantastic, like was the pato (duck), the bolinhos de tapioca, the desserts. Really one of the very best restaurants in...São Paulo (and we've tried a LOT of them...). Go there, you'll not regret it ;-)More

Had lunch yesterday with my daughter and the reason I do not give it 5 stars is 1-i almost never give it 2- decoration, though nice is a bit weird and I enjoy nice manicured places But this is a place you go for the...food, probably among the best I had anywhere . We had tapioca, airy and delicious, we had crazy crispy chicken, they were so good we ordered twice and fideua of sea food, amazing as usual. Service is corteous and efficient , but there is one major problem for us , we always order the same food as it is so good we do not have the courage to try something else !!More

As anything Renata Vanzeto touches, it became gold. Excelent food! The only thing I did not enjoy was a dessert made of green tea. It simply didn't match the texture, temperature... But everything else was great!

Located in the lovely, leafy Jardins area of Sao Paolo Ema is upstairs of an assuming but hit bar. You entered a room that could be a display of wonderful, creative modern art. There is a great buzz, and warm greeting and a menu with...diverse and inventive takes on many great Brazilian dishes. We split a series of appetizers which included a perfectly fried calamari, lightly fried risotto balls with cheese, and a rich crab cake like dish. As a vegan, I had this remarkable fruit cervice in coconut milk which was so light and subtle I thought I was eating fish. Our entries of perfectly rendered meats, tuna tartar perfectly prepared and (for me) a light stew of of banana, rice and vegetables which is a Brazilian classic normally with meat. We had a lovely, reasonably priced red from Chile. The whole time we were well guided by a friendly, correct and warm staff.More

Great restaurant with a very good vibe, You have to book because it s small place. Downstairs there 's also a bar if you want to continue (or if you wait for a table). Super delicious food!

I had tried to book a table at EMA before, without success, so this time I booked a week before. The excitement was, however, not matched by the experience. The decor is nice and the atmosphere very relaxed. In a way, it can even be...too informal. Waiters are all very polite, but getting them to your table can be challenging, even though the place is very small and we were at the center. They simply seemed to forget about us for times. And the food is good, but in my view not great. The sea bass ceviche was ok as a starter, but was not special in any way. The ribs as main were tender and tasted good, but the pure that accompanied it was too milky for my taste. And the (rather expensive) chocolate cake with salty ice cream was quite disappointing -- a very bland cake. All in all, it is not a bad place, but given the hype -- and the price! -- it is unclear whether it is worthwhile.More
