Despite the fact that we wanted to sit outside and it was closed...the food and service at Cavist was excellent. We had the fish of the day, and the filet and both were amazing. Highly recommend.

Great restaurant, not just for wine lovers. Both the appetizers and the entrees were excellent. I recommend enjoying the lovely terrace upstairs overlooking the square. Also, the prices are quite reasonable given the preparation and quality of ingredients. Vast wine selection downstairs at the cellar....More

Located in a charming house built in the 1930's, with a privileged view of the Nossa Senhora da Paz square, in Ipanema, the Cavist Vinoteca & Restô offers a light and modern environment, with a menu inspired by the french-italian cuisine, with a brazilian touch. On the first floor, apart from the restaurant, you can find a wine store with over 2 thousand labels from 16 different countries, offering the best when it comes to wine. On the second floor, a delightful balcony, where the most disputed tables in the restaurant are, is the ideal place for unforgettable evenings and nights.
