A small but comfortable restaurant at Leblon, Rio de Janeiro. We asked for some drinks like the spritz and caipirinhas, some different entrees, and a 72 pieces combo. All the plates look beautiful, the fishes were fresh and tasty! The waiter was very polite and patient.

Almost next door to Sushi Leblon, Brazil’s best Japanese restaurant, this place offers less pricy sushi at great quality and service. Nice crowd Thursday’s night.

I've been many times in Togu and all times I had a great time: great location, cosy space, nice and helpful staff and delicious food, not to mention the creative and wonderful drinks! I strongly recommend to try one of the plates apart from the Sushi bar (which by the way prepares the best Hot Philadelphia I've ever eaten)!! A... More

Togu is one of my favorite japanese restaurants in Rio. It offers a " all u can eat" system but their best dishes are not included in this option. Try the "peixe prego carpaccio", Moqueca harumaqui with banana chutney, special Temp Roll to start.... The main dishes are ALL fantasticly good. Prices are fair for what they offer. If you... More

Actually I wanted to try another restaurant, but as they were full, we passed by Togu and I couldn't resist trying it. Oh my, was I surprised. The service was excellent, where our waiter recommended what to have and what not to have. And even though his English was slightly poor, we made the best of efforts, which is more... More

Location is convenient and sushi is of decent quality. Overpriced for what it is. They have an issue with mosquitos both on the sidewalk and inside the restaurant.

The restaurant is cosy, small and located on the famous Dias Ferreira street. I have been there with my daughter and friends, and were surprised by the variety of contemporary Japanese food. However, if you want to eat sushi at an affordable price, don't go there. Everything, ranging from the caipirinha to the starters, was totally overpriced.

I go here repeatedly for lunch as their executive lunch menu is delicious and very well priced. It's a very small place with slightly cramped seating both inside and out. But really good food and service

Came here because the line at Sushi Leblon was obscene, but it turned out that Togu was just as bad. The hostess told me it would be a 20-30 minute wait, but I waited for over an hour. The portion sizes were small and overpriced, and the quality of the fish wasn't nearly of the standard of some of its... More

We came for dinner. The food is expensive for Brasilian standards, mains around 60 brl. I had the exotic tasting menu. The first 3 dishes were amazing (salmon tartare, tuna tartare and crispy oyster) but the rest was average. Outstanding was the last roll with quail egg and also the tuna sushi with goose liver. Our friends had just main... More

Staying in Leblon

Neighbourhood Profile
Leblon
In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
