Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came to Runnebaque, for the Amazon Sevevre/Pampas and found this gem for lunch—glad to get the recommendation and share one too.

We went here for lunch on a recommendation and it was pretty good. The restaurant is lovely and shady to sit in when it’s hot. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our fruit juice was lovely but our vegetarian pad Thai wasn’t great (which is maybe our fault for ordering pad Thai at a non Thai restaurant but we were recommended this by the waiter). Maybe better for non veggie food.

We had all our meals here during our stay in Rurre, just loved the place, the people and the food. The owner recommended Copoazu juice, a tasty jungle fruit which was a super discovery for me, as I read about it just hours before on the plane to Rurre. The food is very tasty and more gourmet than any other alternative around. Try the fish in oriental sauce, the house salad, the home-made Copoazu icecream and many more items on the menu.

I have been working at an ecolodge here in Rurrenabaque for over a week and had a chance meeting with Davide one night. What legends him and his girlfriend Rosalynn are! I got to know them well and now eat in his fantastic restaurant almost daily. Delicious dishes, good conversation and very understanding and sympathetic hosts. All in all I would recommend this awesome little place to anyone visiting the area and will continue to while I´m here!

What a cool place! We visited Rurre mainly for the promise of jungle but ended up making friends with a restauranteur and his local girlfriend. Incredible hospitality, beautiful location for eating during day or night, and most of all tasty, delicious, homecooked food! Probably the best we ate in the whole town actually. Although kinda hidden away, Paititi is well worth a visit. We ate there twice in four days! Put it on your list of things to do in Bolivia!

I arrived in ´Rurre´ as a tourist fresh from a sweaty 3-day Pampas trip into the jungle by river. The food there in the local community was great but honestly Paititi was incredible! From the moment we walked up the stairs to the almost panoramic restaurant we were impressed. The decor was vibrant and classy and felt so comfortable! And then Davide and his partner Rosaline greeted us in a friendly manner too. The food though - let´s talk food - was honestly some of the best I have tasted in South America. Fresh pizza and a steak for me and my travel companion. Incredible use of herbs and spices all round. I will definitely advise anybody on their travels to visit this little treasure of a place!

Went one evening with my girlfriend. She had Roquefort steak and I had some kind of spiced chicken thing. My meal was really good, but her steak was overcooked with only a tiny bit of sauce.

We went there for dinner and had the loma a la pimento what was really good in particular the souse and the rosemarie potatoes , however the meat was good as well but not medium as ordered. My girlfriend had the stuffed eggplant witch was also tasty. Overall the meals are of better quality then in some other places we have been around, take the lime juice with mint is just delicious!! The restaurant has friendly stuff and is located on the second floor and offers great views to the river Beni. Ii is at calle vaca diez esq. comercio

I visited Madidi National Park out of Rurrenabaque during June of 2015, and visited Paititi for dinner both before and after my jungle adventure. The first time I had a really nice Fettucine Alfredo, and the second I tried their 'Paititi-style' fresh fish. Superb meals both times, and being on the second floor above ground level, you get a nice view of the river and the goings-on in the quite streets of Rurre while you eat. The fresh fruit juice was great too, and the staff are outgoing and friendly, while professional. Highly recommended!

Went with friends on our last night in town. I had the steak which was quite chewy but tasty sauce and vegetables. They had sandwiches which were good value and someone worse had pasta which was a huge portion. Food was okay but not great but then it is in the middle of the jungle.

My boyfriend and I went here and split the basil steak and the tropical chicken. Starting with the steak we asked for medium and half of it was medium as the other half med rare even hinging on rare, however it was tender, seasoning was alright and the basil sauce fairly good with a bit of a kick to it. The chicken had a nice sear but was so smothered in sauce we had to scrape sauce off to even see the chicken. That being said the chicken was tender, fairly moist (although the sauce helped with that) and the sauce was tasty. Our two meal plus an orange juice and a pop came to around 130 bolivianos. All in all it was good but for that price in Bolivia I would not say it was outstanding.

We went to eat there two times. The first time we had to wait around an hour because a 16 pax group was there an all wanted to eat different. But no worries, we are travelling and not escaping. Food was so good, service was so lovely that we decided to go there again. And also the second time it was "muuuuy rico" this food! So we had the experience twice and it was two times very very good. Check it out!! Bon apétit!
