Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a gem! It’s outside the city a slight bit (a couple minute walk) which makes it feel like a calm oasis. The menu is large and well priced (lots of vegan and vegetarian options). The coffee is served in a French press and from Bolivia! When we were there it was a one man show so it took a while to get our meal, but slow and easy was exactly what we were looking for. A lovely experience!

I was in Bolivia for four months visiting family and stayed a few days here at the Hotel. Truly a wonderful stay. The host is fantastic and attentive, continental breakfast was great with fresh fruit and homemade artisan bread. The gounds are tropical and a nice break from the busier sections of Rurre. Felt as if I was transported to a tropical paradise. Highly recomend! Shannon & Rocio

Maybe it was because of rainy season but there was just 1 lady preparing the amazing food we had. If you have the time (I think we waited at least 1 hour for our dinner) then go here. Its really good!

Adela (host) was so warm, welcoming and accommodating, nothing was an issue. Her English is great, but she’ll chat to you in Spanish for you to practice. Gave me a 2L bottle of water when I arrived, and if you contact her prior to arriving she actually replies, unlike other places I’ve booked. Easy 7min walk from the center of Rurrenabaque even with a heavy pack. Her balcony/restaurant was beautiful to relax in with lovely music playing. Food amazing, especially the free breakfast with great coffee, bread from the French bakery and delicious fruit salad (papaya was so fresh, often I don’t like it bc it’s too soft). Also had spinach lasagna, honey ginger fish with rice and vegetables, pasta salad, white wine, iced tea and strawberry cheesecake, all delicious and highly recommended. Only downside is that Adela is often the only one to take orders (other staff in the kitchen) and because it isn’t a commercial kitchen it can be slow. Wasn’t an issue for me though. On the upside the WiFi was fast and reliable, could download or stream movies and music while I chilled out or to get ready for plane flights. Bathrooms clean, shower was hot/warm and had pressure! Bed comfortable, and pillow nice :) Air-conditioning was a nice treat. Kitchenette in room nice to make cup of tea. Helped organize taxi to take me to airport for no extra cost. Could check-out and pay via a combination of cash and card (5% fee) as I was heading home to Australia and wanted to use up my Bolivianos. Adela gave me a hug when I left, it was a wonderful way to finish my travels and relax after 5 days in the jungle! Best accommodation I stayed at in Bolivia!

We have been here three times now, very nice place and good atmosphere. Food is really good!! The owner is so cool and friendly, you feel extremely welcome, we even got a Tour in the garden to see papaya tree, coconuts, chilis, oranges and many other fruits! Try the mixed juice :-)

After one week in Rurrenabaque I confirm my first impression, Casa del Campo is definitely the best option if you care for fresh ingredients, homemade recipes (best breakfast of my life, the homemade yogurt and muesli are out of this world) and top notch service. Adela, the owner, just makes you feel at home - don't miss out on this place if you plan on spending some time in Rurrenabaque before/after going to the jungle and pampas!

Very good food and a very sympathetic man. For Bolivian standards a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

We ate here one evening and really enjoyed the food! I had the burger and my partner had fish in ginger and honey sauce. We both enjoyed the food and found it to be reasonably priced. The lady (presumed owner) spoke reasonable English and was extremely helpful for our dietary requirements - 1 x gluten free. The only negative point was we waited a long time to order and then to receive our food however as we were not in a rush and the terrace was really comfortable this didn’t affect our meal. Would definitely recommend for people in search of decent, reasonably priced food in Rurrenabaque!

Quite a nice comfy place, fair price and awesome food. Staying in casa de campo is a good decision, quiet place with a very kind owner, who also is a great cook. They have no laundry service there, but they will send your laundry to the right place for you.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Adela’s gorgeous bed and breakfast in October before our tour in Madidi. Adela greeted us so warmly and welcoming. The room was so comfortable and spacious with excellent AC that is adjustable by remote control! The restaurant area is truly breathtaking with its craftsmanship in every detail. For dinner we tried both fish dishes and it was by far the best meals we had during all of our time in Bolivia. For lunch she made us an amazing assortment of yogurt, fresh fruits, coffee, homemade breads, etc. As we ate our early breakfast we were able to bird watch colorful Amazonian birds feeding from her lovely garden. I would recommend this place 100%!

We had a few hours to fill in between checking out of our hotel and leaving for the airport and after a recommendation we spent it at Casa de Campo. The owner was such a lovely lady and with an open kitchen we watched her prepare and cook our lunch right in front of us. The food was delicious and much fresher than most restaurants we have eaten at in Bolivia. The setting itself was beautiful and we sat for hours on the shady deck overlooking the river. It was a lovely place to sit and relax.
