Picked it out based on reviews. The hostess was not really pleasant (started hollering at guests at one time for something clearly not their fault), but our server was, though not always around. It's a quaint place; doesn't hold many tables. It seems expensive for the decor too. Our party of 4 arrived before 6 on a Thursday night and... More

This place is rated as one of the 10 best Washington restaurants not in Seattle, and I don't get it. It's no different from hundreds, if not thousands, of others. Server was friendly and helpful, but the food was nothing to write home about. I was hoping for excellent steak and/or seafood, so I was surprised when the server steered... More

This is our favorite restaurant in town. The burgers are outstanding and we love the maritime decorations and books at every table.

This is my 10th season in Anacortes. Adrift has always been successful because they get it. I love the art-and it's not art for sale-that I know of. They manage to change it up enough each year to keep it a fresh experience-like their food. While the menu contains gourmet style SJI cuisine like fried oysters for breakfast-I can say... More

Food, service & staff were excellent. Our B&B recommended the Adrift. If we lived in town it would become a go-to place.

We had an awesome dinner at Adrift! I enjoyed the most delicious crab cakes and my hubby had the cioppino filled with clams, mussels, scallops, salmon, cod etc. both were amazing and so filling! Our server was most engaging with exceptional service, very attentive. Reservations advised for a Friday night. I would highly recommend Adrift!

I came for an early lunch before hiking and had the blackened catfish Salish sandwich with their roasted fries. With a pint of beer it was $22. Glancing over the menu, that is about status quo for the place. While the food was good, that's pretty steep for a lunch sandwich. I'm guessing the tourist trap theory falls here. But,... More

My wife and I went to La Conner for the Tulip Festival. The culinary highlight of the trip was dinner at Adrift.

Staying just across the street for a wedding, we sat in chairs outside on a warm day and ordered breakfast. I ordered the Veggie Starts (roasted potatoes with veggies and cheese added at the last..the server sugg I add bacon, it was a great suggestion!) My hubs ordered a breakfast burrito...we could have both shared my meal though...it was enormous... More

Organic, locally sourced yumminess. Went here for brunch. We ordered the crab scramble and a burger. I eat a lot of burgers and would put this solidly in my overall top 10. I'd drive from Seattle or Bellingham to Anacortes just to go back to this restaurant.
