In Town for my sons 17th birthday. Called and made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Was told they were setting aside 2 dozen crabs. OUT OF CRABS when we arrived for our 630pm reservation.

Being New Englanders, we had to try the steamed crabs. They were well worth the wait! Seasoned just right, and good to the last bite. I was stuffed after we finished off the dozen. More than enough foe 2. The beer was perfectly cold just like it should be when eating crabs. The location wasn't in the middle of everything... More

Great place to gather with your shipmates or comrades and spend hours eating and drinking, telling sea stories and indulging in some light-hearted inter-service rivalries.

We were staying in a hotel nearby this place, and TripAdvisor highlighted what this place had to offer, so we decided to try it for ourselves. The place looks very local, with a restaurant part and a bar, both separated by a door. We ordered a couple of nice wheat beers and a bunch of crab cakes to start with.... More

Every year our family has our annual crab fest at the Quarterdeck for about 8-10 family members and friends. Sometimes the grandparents (us) sneak back on our own so we don't break the bank just to get "our" hands on the Sea spiders! We always have fun, take way too much time, and depart Happy.

After touring Arlington National Cemetery, we were ready for dinner at 5:30 PM. We wanted someplace close by. We played Restaurant Roulette with the Garmin. It made a good choice with the Quarterdeck. It was set in a mixed development neighborhood with apartment buildings and houses. The restaurant had two sections. The indoor area was adjacent to the bar which... More

Neighborhood restaurant with really good food! It was cold and windy, so we didn't sit outside. Cheerful servers and excellent food. Nice place to kick back and relax. Crab cakes were exceptional!

Just the atmosphere I wanted for a trip back to D.C. area after 40 years. Food was very good, service appalling. Server actually averted his eyes when I tried to get his attention. Not acceptable!!

Very pleased with the food and service. We ate in the bar area and received great service. Had the raw shrimp and fish and chips. Would definitely recommend. Cute little neighborhood gem.

If you like crabs and craft beer, you'll love this place. Just be sure to ask the price ahead of time to avoid sticker shock. Reservations a must on the weekend, as this is a popular place with the locals.
