I had high expectations following the reviews the restaurant got. Unfortunately it wasn't great, not even good, mediocre.

The positives first--nice menu selection, with a few dishes not the run of the mill. Draft beer selection including draft Singha was nice. Appetizers were quite good--tod mun, fried tofu, larb and salad. There is a related Thai grocery next door and free parking in...More
There are so many great Thai restaurants in the D.C. area - but this is the one we keep coming back to again and again. The atmosphere is elegant, the service lovely and the food is delicious and creative. The menu is so extensive -...More
Friendly service, great food, appealing atmosphere, reasonable prices. What more can I say? There are so many options to choose from. We really enjoyed our dinner and I would definitely go back. Beware- parking is limited but there is a parking garage close by on...More
Excellent service, good prices, but the food at lunch on a rainy day was way below average for Thai restaurants in the general area. The broth fof the Tom yam soup was weak, insipid, barely flavored, a big disappointment. The main courses weren't much better.
There was a day when Bangkok 54 was the place to go for Thai food in Northern VA, which is why I was so disappointed with my recent lunch. The food was bland, almost tasteless. The service was impersonal. I won't be back.
The food here was great. I didn't like the taste of the water though. It tasted like it came straight out of the kitchen sink.
We had a group dinner at his restaurant. Tom our server, makes everybody feels comfortable and happy. He has a great sense of humor, knows the restaurant and menus so well and good personality. Food was really good.
Most of the food are good, the owner is super friendly and they have a great grocery store next door...i love it.
