Nice for a couples night out and in area. Food is good. Drinks are good. This is an old neighborhood stand by. Not too much variety in entrees, but food is prepared nicely. It's convenient, and good if you need to take a business dinner, and need something close that's decent.

Really love doing our corporate happy hours and small dinners at Ray's the Steaks. Chris is great to work with and makes sure the group is well taken care of. It can get pretty busy/noisy so book in advance if you can. Steaks and sauces are seriously delicious.

Ray's used to be a charming gem, with impeccable steaks, a quaint atmosphere, and sides that were complementary, keeping the price reasonable. The sides are still there, but the larger space is dim, beat-up, cold and ratty, the beef is not the cut it used to be (I had a very tough strip), and the price tag is such that... More

We arrived about 4:00pm and there was no other customers. The food was good and service was excellent. My only compliant was, the Mac and cheese came so late into the meal that my friend forgot she ordered it. They should have warned her as to how much time it would take to make it. Meal choices were very expensive.

If you're looking for a great steak in a simple setting, this is the place. They don't go for fancy artwork or ambiance here, so the focus is on the meat. Decent wine selection, the sides aren't bad either (Spinach and mashed potatoes)

I visited in early in March with family, after having heard of this place for years. Full disclosure: I live 1.5 hour drive away, so it is quite a hike for me We ordered the Bone-in Ribeye, 16 oz. New York Strip, and Entrecote, as well as the side of Mushrooms. The food was very good. My NY Strip was... More

Upon learning that the owner of ray's recently filed for bankruptcy protection for the second time in two years, our dreadful dining experience at ray's in Arlington made sense. The service was awful, unapologetic and downright rude and it was obvious that the management could not care less. The wedge salad, which,in the past, was good was presented after a... More

Waited over an hour for a salad. It was drenched with blue cheese. No water or bread served. Our table was passed between four servers. Each one was equally rude. When we inquired about our meal after an hour and a half, the server snapped at us and told us they had a wait in the kitchen. Steaks were overdone... More

We celebrated Valentine's Day at Ray's the Steaks, and we were very pleased with everything! Angie, our server, was excellent. The crab soup is delicious, and the scallops were outstanding. The New York Strip we had was cooked to perfection, and the key lime pie was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ate at Rays on a Saturday night. The food was great. There were three of us and we each ordered a different steak. Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes come with your meal but two of us are on a low carb diet and passed on the free sides. Instead we ordered the vegetarian veggie plate and shared it. It was...
