My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how tasty our 2 different raviolis were - his was mushroom and I had the lobster. They were perfectly prepared, tender and delicious. We left without feeling overstuffed as the meal included an awesome house salad and bread and the wines were the perfect topper to the meal. Wish we had room... More

Coming from NYC and staying within walking distance to this restaurant the food is not disappointing. It's not NYC's best Italian but outside of NYC it's hard to find comparable. So this was very good quality for lunch. Except they don't make pizza at lunch hour. Waiter service was excellent and the price very reasonable.

Food was not good. Service was shoddy. WAY too expensive for the product. Salad dressing was horrible (you could tell it was really old) and Mozzarella appetizer was "plastic". Won't go here again.

We went for dinner. We ordered a pizza, large. It was big for the price and good. My daughter had spaghetti carbenar it was good. With 2 beers the check was $40.

Stopped in for lunch when they had barely been open 15 minutes. The ambiance was enchanting and the food delectable! The owner was very welcoming & gave us many pointers about navigating D.C. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back for dinner!

Decent italian food. Lobster ravioli, chicken Isabella, meat calzone peroni beer. Good and close to hotel. I wouldn't go out of my way - but a good dinner if staying at Hilton Garden Inn across the street

First the good. This is a cute place. I ate early so the restaurant wasn't that busy and the service was great. I ordered the meat Calzone with a side salad. I couldn't believe how fast the salad came. The Italian dressing was great. Now the not so good. While the Calzone looked fantastic, I've never tasted something so bland.... More

When in the area ww always plan for one meal.to be at the Cafe Italia I in Olde Town. Our plan was for dinner last night but traffic prevented us from arriving before 10:30. We made another excellent dinner selection but that is another review. Not to be defeated we made it for lunch today. The "specials" option looked great,... More

I had the jumbo shells with pink sauce...it was so good! The Italian sausage was spicy but very tasty. My husband said it might be the best sausage he had ever eaten. He had the lobster ravioli and enjoyed it. Our son really liked the chicken Alfredo.

The bread is homemade and comes to your table hot. We could have just eaten the bread. It seems like a family run place because when they went in the back I think spoke Italian. All your dishes will be a little different than you are expecting because they put the Italian flare on it. This is a good thing.... More
