Went here in May while visiting friends in D.C....classic Irish Pub ambiance, and blends in well with old town Alexandria. Had a Guinness, served slightly colder than I would've liked but nonetheless refreshing on a hot day. I had a burger, which was cooked perfectly...More

I have a soft spot for Murphy's. My friends and I have been going here for brunch for years and it's stayed pretty consistent: their hearty breakfast is reasonably priced, the staff (and especially management) are always on point, and even fellow diners are occasionally...More

No matter what you order you get alot of it. Food was very good and the service was great too. Small comfy atmosphere makes you feel at home.

Cool Irish Pub on King Street in Alexandria. Good selection of beers on tap, and a good selection of food. Prices are reasonable. Plus there is live music every night.

Went here with the family on 8/8/17. Typical Irish type pub, Americanized. Food was ok, prices reasonable for what you got. However the service is horrible and very slow. Our waiter was incompetent.

Very charming old pub. Great location. Food was awesome and the waitress Sydney was friendly and quick. Loved that you can have dinner and then walk around downtown.

What can be better than fish and chips and a draft beer at an Irish pub? Live music, including a rendition of O Danny Boy! Nice large pieces of fish with their rendition of 'cottage' fries - which are similar to a sliced baked potato....More

The entertainment was wonderful. Pat Carroll was there when we visited. A lot of audience participation and a wide variety of songs including traditional Irish ones. We really enjoyed ourselves.

I did not remember seeing any gluten free options on the menu but I sat at the bar and had bar snacks only.
