My husband and I went there for the first time to try their 50% off oysters at 3 pm with a couple friends. Our waitress was nice, but the only thing we would criticize is that either she or the kitchen forgot our 2-dozen oyster...More

I had my first Clydes experience about 20 years ago at Clydes of Tysons Corner. For many years, I regarded Clydes as a staple, not great but consistently good food and good bartenders that pour a good drink. But after 20 years, not much has...More

Clyde’s at Alexandria Mark Center is an excellent choice for an “old school” dinner out. Nothing “nouveau” about Clyde’s just classic ingredients, simply prepared, resulting in a great meal. Prices are reasonable. Basic but good wine list, well-priced. All in all ... there is every...More

Clydes is a dependable restaurant (at the Mark Center in Alexandria) for good food and the atmosphere is always great. The service this time was a little slower but friendly and we told the waitress we were not in a hurry. The restaurant is cooperative...More

My wife and I requested a salad that was not on the menu, and the waitress & kitchen staff were happy to create exactly what we were looking for. The salmon and swordfish entrees were delicious, as were the sides served with each meal. The...More

I really like Clyde's Mark Center. When they are running on all eight cylinders, they are amazing; excellent service and perfect timing from the kitchen. In fact, the excellent service teams make the just good to mediocre teams tough to bear. We've experienced so-so teams...More

Excellent service for our family gathering. Salmon was cooked perfectly for my taste (very rare on the inside). All members were very pleased and never got the feeling we were holding things up as we stayed an hour chatting after dinner.

I've been here several times, and this was my first time noticing how filthy it was. I was sitting in a booth. The wall next to us was covered in dried drips of some sort of food or drink. So were the pictures on the...More

I honestly don’t know how anyone could give this place less than a 4 rating. Comfortable, excellent food, wait staff superb. Ignore the nay sayers, this place is YUM!

Try Clydes at Willow Farm. It is about 8 times bigger than Clyde's at Mark Center. It is also way out in the suburbs so it may not work for you. It is a beautiful place on 500 acres and has many different themes. Look at the... More

Description
Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.
