We stop for an appetizer and cocktails. The Crab and Artichoke dip was the best I've tasted in a long-time. I recommend it was very good. PS: Please train the bartender regarding, handling drinks. We sat at the bar for cocktails. The bartender opened a top-shelf bottle of bourbon and let customers smell the bottle top several times. He did... More

We were attending an event at the Hilton on a Friday and decided to make a reservation and walk over. Not a bad walk. We were very pleased with how well they handled our group. In addition to being a fair size group, we were also facing some time constraints from finishing one event at five and being back for... More

Of the seemingly ubiquitous Clyde's in the Washington area, this is my favorite - and I drive there from Capitol Hill. Multiple dining rooms provide medium sized spaces with traditional Clyde's touches. The bar has a neighborhood feel. There is a great seafood selection, with an excellent raw bar. Pastas always deliver but fish, particularly rockfish, is their strength. Many... More

Absolutely great looking restaurant. Several dining rooms, each different but very well done. We had the rock fish and it was sublime. Our waitress, Michelle was outstanding. A real excellent dinning experience. Can't wait until we visit again. FYI, the prices were very reasonable. Two thumbs up.

If you are there for Happy Hour on a Friday and there is no room at the bar, ... all is not lost! We decided to be seated in the dining room. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and anxious to serve. We told him that we would first like to order a drink and appetizer. There was a smaller menu... More

I eat here on occasion for lunch mostly, but every now and then for dinner. I have a seafood allergy, but they still have a lot of other really great items on their menu. I miss their French Onion soup though.

The menu does best with seafood, and it seems the kitchen does too. The calamri and oyster appetizers are good, and the striper and crab cake dinners were "clean the plate" good. The schnitzel entree was a bit disappointing - the meat was dry, the sauce was thin and tasteless, the spaetzele was greasy and the potatoes are redundant. Bailey's... More

Clyde's is McConnell a place that my husband and I go to regularly, when we want a more upscale dinner without having to pay outrageous prices. Everything about Clyde's is outstanding. From the decor comma the seating, the menu and the wait staff. I've never had a bad meal here or bad service and the prices are very reasonable. I've... More

Always a favourite whether for a full sit-down meal, brunch menu or a visit to the wonderful island bar. Professional and cordial staff and quality food. Always a nice atmosphere.

We came here with a group. The restaurant was very busy and not surprisingly the service was slow. The food was not up to par either. My burger was barely edible and others expressed similar sentiments about the food. We can forgive this because usually Clyde's is very reliable. However, if we have too many of these experiences we will... More

Description
Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.
