We had a late lunch. We shared a dozer oysters, I had a lobster roll, my wife had two side dishes, no entree. Two glasses of wine. Our bill was over $100. Hanks is a good restaurant, but the prices are astronomical. So, be prepared.
Our favorite oyster place! We get there at 3:00pm for happy hour to sit at the bar to drink beer and eat a selection of oysters from various locations. The dining room opens at 5:30pm. This is a favored neighborhood hangout. The only down side...More

I had read so many good reviews, I was eager to try Hanks on a recent vacation to the DC area. While the service was good and the atmosphere is nice, the food was astonishingly devoid of flavor. My husband and I shared several small...More
