BE CAREFUL!! This is a Racial Restaurant. I was in Alexandria, VA with family and my wife and I thought of going to this place to enjoy some Hukkah and food. I called them at around 7pm to check if it was okay for us to come at around 9-10pm and they were okay with it and said fine. I... More

The lunch buffet does not have a large selection; but what is here is top notch. In this case it is quality verse quantity. Starting with a nice salad, cheese and dalmas; which was all quite fresh. Next moving on to some light pastries filled with meat and cheeses. There was a soup. Next the mains dishes, the day I... More

Zikrayet is a second home for me and my partner in crime. The owners are always there and are sweethearts. I love the staff. They are friendly, fun and polite. Both Mo and Hanni make a great shisha. I love the outdoor seating but when it's cold the indoor seating is nice too. They've expended their menu recently and their... More

We love Mediterranean food, a wonderful fusion of Italian and Arabic, truth be known, so we were very disappointed at the cuisine here. If you want superb Mediterranean, go to nearby Delia's a few blocks west. The cuisine and affordable prices there make that place so much better.

I made the mistake of leaving my debit card at this establishment. At a respectable establishment, the staff should turn in the card to some kind of lost and found, after all, it is not an uncommon problem in this industry. Not only did their staff not do this, but the manager was extremely rude when I called. If they... More

We went for a happy hour but arrived early and order chicken shwarma sliders at the bar. The waitress said it wasn't 4:30 yet for happy hour. I told her were were on a time constraint and that I would pay full price which I did pay with tip. 15 minutes later I asked about the food and was told... More

We were there for happy hour and the prices were great. Most of all the food was truly authentic. I think this place has the best falafel and the other side dishes including the hummus were great! The thing to be prepared for is outside, it was hookah heaven, and people were lighting up all over the place. The service... More

Chose Zikrayat for its convenient location and vegetarian offerings. Food was very good, atmosphere casual and fun, great service. Would definitely go back.
