A great combination. Very nice casual atmosphere. Service was pretty slow on a Saturday afternoon. But the monster stuffed Chicken Quesadilla was well prepared and very flavorful.

Blue toad has a lot of cider choices. The service is rather slow, and the food is okay. This is not the place to plan to eat a meal on the 151 trail, but a good place to grab a cherry or harvest cider. Both are very good!

We visited their location near Devils Backbone. I do apologize for the review I wrote a few months ago. I hit the wrong rating number which was low vs excellent which they are. Their prices are very reasonable and they have creative names for each cider. Now, in addition to offering cider by the glass and growler, you can get... More

We had the fish and chips which is battered with their APA Hopped Cider. Great portions and taste. Unlike the other cidery on the road, their flavors all have unique tastes of their own.

We visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon when it wasn't packed. Service was great, had a great convo. 10 ciders on tap so we did the flight. Meh. I prefer the carbonation at Bold Rock to the comparatively flat cider at Blue Toad. Blue Toad has more flavors (pineapple, cherry, blonde, harvest, hopped, etc.) but they all seem to taste... More

Did a tasting of various ciders. But loved their seasonal special aged in bourbon barrels. Pineapple cider was also really good. All local grown apples!

Stopped by on way to Massanutten to try something refreshingly different. We were really surprised of how great the tastings were and how large the pourings were--no need to order an extra drink at all; wish the wineries followed suit. Excellent ciders and plan on returning and also trying others now that we found a new drink with a kick.

wide variety of ciders with exotic flavors. They pour great size pours, enough to not need to drink any more! We went to the old Wintergreen Winery location next to a river. It is a gorgeous property.

We ended up here as a second choice when Blue Mountain was absolutely PACKED. We were able to be seated immediately and the pleasant server got our drinks and orders quickly. They had music outside and it was good. It did take a while for our food to be served, but it was tasty and we enjoyed our meal. It... More

My wife and I never introduced our palates to ciders so we figure give Blue Toad a try. So we tried a flight of eight varieties and were served 7 because they apparently depleted to most popular one. Of the seven we found a couple that were good tasting but as stout beer drinks and fine wine drinks the ciders... More
