Great service and amazing bbq and sauces. Had the smoked turkey and it was very good. They have a sauce bar with some interesting twists on your average bbq sauces.

Unique in Abingdon in that it offers a down-home BBQ menu. Also unique in that it is open on Monday when every place else is closed. Friendly service. Corn bread was too sweet - otherwise good food. Located in an old hardware store on Main...More

Really enjoyed the collards and cornbread. Not usually a fan of sweet cornbread but it suits the collards. "High on the hog" a new favorite.

We stopped me had takeout from here on a recent trip. The brisket and pulled pork were excellent . The restaurant was in old hardware store and was warm and welcoming. Bluegrass music playing in the background and friendly service. Look forward to returning without...More

Both meals was delicious. Pull pork barbecue had a good smoker flavor and no noticeable fat. Collards greens are good. Smoked chicken wings were awesome. The barbeque sauce bar is a treat.

The name sounded good but the food was just mediocre. Kind of dry actually. They did have an assortment of various sauces to pick from a buffet style assortment, which was interesting. But sauce on top of meat is different from meat being cooked/smoked in...More

This restaurant was hidden away with a small entrance on Main St. I believe that the restaurant occupies what was once an early 20th century hardware store, which provides a great back drop for a barbecue restaurant. Good food and service, and quite busy. We...More

Stopped in with friends for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Ecclectic southern menu, and the BBQ was really good.

The staff are very helpful there. I'm guessing that the main meat courses are fine as long as you steer clear of the bread.
