Had already had a hamburger earlier during the day so opted for the chicken fried steak burger and fries. It was wonderful! Will definitely go back again.

This Austin landmark has been serving up fresh, fantastic burgers for decades! Fresh, homemade buns and 100% ground chuck burgers cooked to perfection are just the beginning. Choose between fresh cut French fries or hand dipped onion rings to round out your meal. When they call your number, grab your platter and head over to the condiment bar and fix... More

We were driving around looking for a place to eat & decided to give the place a try. Turned out to be great choice. Really great tasting burgers with fresh buns! You get to fix your burger at the open salad/condiment bar. Onion rings were very good. Prices very reasonable - much better quality & better prices than fast food... More

A lot of the guys in the office go here often, but I had never been. I needed a place to have my service anniversary luncheon, and I needed a place that wasn't so expensive that I could only invite 2-3 people. This place fit the bill, no pun intended. I love a good burger, and really, this is the... More

My son and I were in the area and looking for lunch. Didn't really want a burger but it was across the street and had a good lunch crowd. It's curb appeal is not all that but what the heck. Turned out to be totally yummy! I had the "mongolian beef" burger and son had regular. The fries were super,... More

This place is a marriage made in heaven on a cusine basis. Good old fashioned greasy spoon burger joint with Korea BBQ and spice expertise. Highly recommend the Bulgoki Burger. Note buns are toasted on the griddle with plenty of grease. Yummy, but can't eat that every day or it will kill you.

Burger Tex has several locations, and I've eaten at each of them. The decor is a little basic, but every location has always been clean and well staffed. They have a varied menu, including bulgogi(!!) which is available as a platter style meal or as a 'burger' (a generous portion of bulgogi served on a hamburger bun)

Well I don't know if I would say it's the best burger in town but is definitely a good burger! Buns were amazing. Not a great deal of flavor in the meat but cooked right! Large buffet of condiments helps you make your burger YOUR way! Driven by this place hundreds of times. Glad I finally stopped!
