I now understand the mixed reviews of this restaurant. We were seated right away and had our waters refilled twice before I finally gave up and asked the hostess to grab our server. So kudos on prompt water refilling but definitely a negative that had...More

This was my first visit to Austin. A local on the plane told me I *must* try bbq while in town. Another local told me and a friend to go to Lambert’s. I have family that works in the bbq business on the east coast...More

Dinner and drinks were okay, but very expensive for very average food. Least favorite restaurant in 4 days of dining....

This place requires reservations and they need to be in advance - we called same day and got a 9:30pm slot - we went early and were able to snag a seat st the bar (took about 10 minutes) while we waited for drinks. They...More

Went in for a Beer, ended up going with the bartender's recommendation for the half off hangersteak (half off during happy hour). Rarely eat steak but thoroughly enjoyed it.

We didn't reserve early enough we walked in and there was a 2-hour wait but lucky enough two seats opened up at the end of the bar where you can choose from the bar menu or the full menu. Our bartender(s) was great both with...More

We went on a recommendation of a local. Food was interesting and ok. The wild boar spare ribs were very good, but the brisket was extremely dry and tough. Not what you would expect from brisket. Over all I think there are better options but...More

Waow! Their briskets and their bbq hot sauce are the best I know. Together with a dark IPA, ... That was the treat of the day! Don't miss it!

Went in at 5. They don't seat until 5:30--but the bar seats earlier. Happy hour prices at the bar from 5 to 7. All BBQ dishes were delicious and the bartender was awesome.

Like Ray5000, I didn't see any, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I don't go to restaurants to watch TV. Call Lambert's and ask them.
