Food was great, as always. Best seafood in Austin. Get the oysters, fried fish. The gumbo is exceptional. Beer super cold, get Victoria beer.

This little gem is considered Austin's best kept secret! Food is always always good. Gumbo is the best I've had! Shrimp skewer is wonderful. Pacific Special is good too. Draft beer is reasonably cheap. I'm not an oysters fan, but have seen quite a lot of people chowing down.

This place isn't going to be for everybody, but I make it a point to frequent it especially during crawfish season. The reason I give it 5 stars is because of the experience you have here interacting with the staff. It's down home. You get a bit of cabaret with your meal. Manny, the manager (funny enough) is a riot.... More

The Gulf oysters and shrimp are fresh and flavorful! Some of the best in Austin. I don't ask for fries as a side because they have a nice pilaf or garlic rice that satisfies me more than French fries. The star of this restaurant is the Gumbo! The Gumbo is tasty and reminds of the gumbo I've had from New... More

First visit, placed was cramped but there was seating. Menu looked good but at the table next to me another guest had their dog inside. I asked about the pet policy and they advised there were no pets allowed but somehow no one noticed this guest walk in with her "seeing eye dog" on a leash. Won't be coming back,... More

This small, unpretentious café with covered deck on the 183N access road is not impressive - until you eat! Fresh oysters, grilled fish special, and etouffee were all marvelous. The owner and staff are friendly and most helpful - we'll be back.

This place has been a staple of mine for years. The food is always hot and fresh and the beer is cold. My only complaint is that the prices have increased quite a bit over the years so I don't go there as often now. Despite the prices, I still frequent the place and would recommend it to others.

This Mexican owned and run family restaurant has been in business for at least 20 years (that I know of). This isn't gourmet, but it's solid feel-good seafood that reminds you of an old fashioned place on the gulf. Fresh oysters and great fried offerings make this place fun; but if you get some of the broiled seafood specials they... More
