Friendly staff, practically all the food is homemade, lots of choice, generous portions and good value for money! The quiche is to die for!!

This cafe features sandwiches, daily soup choices, bakery goods and more. We visited for lunch 2 times during our visit to Austin. The chili was excellent with just the right amount of "kick." The potato soup was creamy and flavorful. The ice tea choices each day were different. There is the "standard" black iced tea and a separate "flavored" iced... More

This was my first visit to San Francisco Bakery and Cafe. I ordered the Turkey & Bacon Club on wheat with chips and tea. The sandwich was pretty good. They bake the bread fresh on site. The chips were plain ridged chips. They don't have sweet tea, but they do have a berry tea that was pretty good. The service... More

If you are part of the workday lunch crowd you should skip this eatery. Just to order you have to stand in line for fifteen to twenty minuets while the girls at the register are either on the phone taking call in orders or being overly solicitous to the person lucky enough to have actually made it to the counter.... I came here with my sister in law and nephew and really enjoyed having breakfast here. I had the veggie quiche, cafe au lait, and I took a blueberry muffin to go. Really enjoyed the quiche-it's hard to find such a delicious quiche in a restaurant. The crust was the best I've ever had-I wish my crust turned out like... More

We greatly enjoyed our visit to the San Francisco Bakery this morning. The bakery is tucked away in the corner so we never noticed this place before. The service was friendly and attentive. The chocolate croissant and quiche Lorraine hit the spot. We ordered a cappuccino and cafe mocha which were both delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice... More

This week I made a first visit to San Francisco Bakery. I will be back! From a varied and generous menu I chose the quiche and soup combo. A quarter of a spinach and bacon quiche was served with a cup of clam chowder and a baguette. The quiche was delicious as was the clam chowder. The seasonings were just... More

The morning glory muffins are absolutely delicious! You have to try them. Order some to take home too or else you will be frustrated when you get home!
