Everything is good. Some dishes are exceptional. The queso and the gumbo are superb. The chili is great. The burgers are excellent, as well. Close your eyes, out your finger down on the menu. You'll hit something you'll love.

Delicious Venison chili! I had the frito pie with venison chili, jalapeños and onions. Perfect blend of spice and flavor with friendly waitstaff as well! Highly recommend!

Sometimes all things chili is just the thing your body needs. We tried chili a multitude of ways, by itself in varying degrees of intensity, with steak and with Fritos...all were so very tasty. The perfectly cold Shiners was the cherry on the sundae!

Took a large group for lunch, the folks were friendly and fast, and we all ordered large bowls of chili. The small won't be big enough for most folks, so get the large. The no beans was the favorite and is the traditional way to...More

We've been patronizing the Chili Parlor for almost 40 years. We've been there twice in the past 2 weeks, late at night after concerts. The drinks are always great (try the Magnum) and the food is good. The staff is friendly, especially the bartenders.

There is street parking meters very close by. You shouldn't have any trouble at all finding a spot. I was there during a UT football game and found a spot with no trouble.
