We went here with a group of friends on a Sunday around 11am. The place was packed!! We went just for the avocado margarita so didn't try the food but based on the margarita alone I would say this place is a must see-try in Austin!! Yum, yum, yum!!

Margaritas were fabulous! Fajitas were seasoned to perfection! Service outstanding! Would definitely recommend!

Curras has always had outstanding breakfast tacos, but the restaurant has updated the decor. The murals on the walls are works of art. The ceiling has hammered tin, and the booths are recovered. Nice updates.

Avacado margaritas are good, especially when sitting on the shady patio in the cool breeze. Tomales are fresh and they even offer a vegetable option, which you don't see often. Charro beans are soupy-fine and perfect with corn tortillas. My mole chicken was good, although would have been better with a bone-in roasted quarter chicken than with the breast slice.... More

I think they think that we're all from up north somewhere that doesn't care for spice. All the food was bland. I don't like how they assemble the tacos instead of bringing an entree and some tortillas on the side.

Great service. Excellent coffee, unique (a dark roast with a little bit of chocolate and nuttiness). I ordered the huevos Curra's, carne guisada with 2 sunny-side-up eggs. Beautifully spiced charro beans and homemade tortillas. Life is good!

Couldn't get any better. The prices are very nice. The food is awesome. Reminds me of being back in Oaxaca. If you are in Austin and like Mexican food go here. You won't regret it. They also sell Mexican coffee by the pound which i can't recommend enough.

Great priced food with lots of options. Authentic Mexican. I loved the avocado margaritas and basically dream about them. The place has wonderful mural art inside. Super friendly staff. Also try the banana on your rice. Super delicious.

The food was great as were the drinks. Service was good but I big surprise when we got the check, In Texas almost every place gives chips and hot sauce ours were brought to the table the instant we sat down. On our check we were charged 2.29 for them, also $1.00 charged twice for the sauce for each enchilada,in... More

We stumbled upon this place while we were in town and we're so so glad we did. This is the best Mexican food I think I have ever had (went for breakfast twice) and our waitress was wonderful too. We even went back for margaritas at night as well. If you like spice, try the Habernero Margarita. Also love the... More
