We went here both for breakfast and for dinner. They had a special prix fixe for dinner with a salad/soup starter, main and dessert – all for $18.86. It was a nice way to try a few things from the menu without breaking the proverbial...More

The 1886 Cafe & Bakery offer, I️ think, the very best breakfast in town. We love the Eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros. Many great and freshly prepared items to choose for all tastes and the coffee is wonderful. It’s busy so reservations are advisable. Valet...More

Huevos rancheros and pecan waffle in the shape of Texas is really really good! Service was good - sat outside in the lobby seats. Great people watching on a Friday morning- felt like Vegas. Lol

I was very disappointed by my lunch here. The black bean soup was boring. The tomato and avocado salad - wilted, small & flavorless. Stop in to see the lobby of the beautiful Driskill Hotel, but I would not recommend this restaurant.
