We had their Kitchen Sink breakfast wraps with green salsa and loved them! They put potatoes, eggs, a little bacon and fresh shredded cabbage in a wrap. Hubby bought a second. They have some nice picnic tables if you want to dine right there too. If I lived here I would visit frequently.

Went there on a Friday late lunch. The burritos are very good, tasty, and full. Good amount of choices, your order comes fast. When we were there, we didn't have to wait, and the guy was really nice. Good experience, we will come back when in the neighborood.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch. The food is tasty, spicy, well--prepared. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and helpful.

If you find yourself on the north end of the Capitol looking for a quick bite to eat and wanting something uniquely Austin--this is a great stop. The sandwiches are made on a yummy piece of Gyro-type bread, which is required to soak up all the juice of some of the slaws and sauces. They usually have a special, the sandwiches... More

I wanted something with just meat in the breakfast taco or something in a bowl...but our wires got crossed somewhere and I ended up with a $3 taco with cabbage, grilled onion and carrots with some odd sauce. My husband got the right order, but his eggs were an odd texture and the bacon was a bit on the burnt... More

We drove around Austin trying to locate the food trucks and accidently parked in the lot next to The Jalopy Rotisserie and Press. Needless to say the "Kitchen Sink" breakfast was delicious, tasty and messy. I would rank this experience of the food truck industry as fantastic and we will be going back again the next time we are in... More

The Jalopy was a short bus ride from campus - just wasn't gonna walk with my office best on - and pretty easy to locate. Not much on ambiance, but pretty long on taste. That bread is soooo amazing and good for sopping up some unique sauce flavors! I had the Son Hong - sweet and savory chicken. A definite... More

Our first trip to Jalopy (for lunch with a colleague) took place on a relatively cold day (for Austin), but it was sunny and warm enough on the business side of the trailer. We got a Nobel Prize bowl and a Gadd Thai bowl, both of which were perfectly sized and delicious. The veggie chips, which are pre-made or bought... More

The Jalopy was fairly near my hotel, so I walked there for a meal, not really knowing what to expect. It was a food trailer and was decorated whimsically, neon sign and all. The proprietor was super friendly while explaining his offerings. I told him I was vegetarian and he recommended the Vegan Thai wrap. I took it back and... More

Wonderful breakfast wraps!! Best breakfast sandwich in town. Delicious. Lunch is interesting and gourmet.. Made by the cutest young man Nicholas. Lunch is fabulous. Whole concept is so Austin and fun. My favorite is the Gadd Thai sandwich, spicy good. Don't miss it.
