Best hummus in town, really good swarma. We get takeout from here for dinner at least once a week. Wonderful for lunch too!

I'm sure there are a lot of good restaurants in Austin but this has been my favorite for years. Last time I was there I had the chicken shawarma and lentil soup. Simply amazing.
Friendly staff and great food. It is also a grocery store. Last time I was there I had the brick oven pies and they were delish.
The restaurant is more like a cafe/grocery store but the food is definitely restaurant quality. I had the hummus with lamb and some falafel. It was delicious and is on our list to return.

Went there for lunch with my wife and had the lamb schwarma plate and the lamb shank plate. Each came with pita, hummus, rice, and salad. The lamb schwarma had reasonable flavor but was badly overcooked, tough, and dry. Would have also benefited from tsziziki....More
