Its a must to stop by the Gourdough's food truck in Austin. The menu is great but very rich food. The clucking chicken donut is amazing! We ordered the Nutty Valentine which was covered in Nutella. It's great food!

If you love food and being out of your comfort zone this is a great place to eat at when in Austin. A friend recommended it and I thought a doughnut hamburger would be gross and something I would ever eat. I was so wrong! The classic "Mary Jane" hamburger would be great for starters and the chips are good... More

Don't go in this restaurant thinking you will pick up a dozen doughnuts and go home. There are so many (unusual) ideas of things to put on a doughnut I can't even list them. Our table ordered everything from Mexican food to hamburgers to breakfast and underneath it al.......a huge doughnut! A must try and I bet you will go... More

I have to pace myself so I only visit on a special occasions or when someone's visiting from out of town. I've tried the flying pig, miss shortcake, the puddin, son of a peach and the funky monkey and they were all delicious and reasonably priced. I have to warn you though, you might only be able to eat half... More

Gourdough's is known for gourmet doughnuts. Plus, most entrees are somehow made with a donut-wether it be a doughnut bun or a doughnut "roll". These are similar to what my mom used to make at home with biscuit dough and a fryer. All the food was good but it was too greasy to finish the entrees. We did not get... More

A friend and I split the Ron Burgundy and the Sin-A-Bomb and both were AMAZING. Probably more calories than I need for a whole day, but so WORTH IT. If I'm ever in Austin again we will have to go back!

Disgustingly gross fattening food which for some strange reason is getting popular, thanks to the makers and the customers who end up giving such unhealthy food 4 and 5 stars. This type of food should not even be allowed and as if that was not good enough, their portions address huge as if someone can eat such big desserts. There... More

Yes, this is a calorie packed meal but its uniqueness is a must have! It's like having dinner and dessert at the same damn time. The donuts aren't sweet at all but you can lather it down with honey butter for glaze and the chicken strip was super moist and flavorful. My friends and I all passed out from having... More

Everything you expect from a classic American donut - big, fat, greasy (not that easy to digest for your average European stomach :). Big selection of tastes and combinations though.

So hard to make a choice with the scrumptious selections! I was not disappointed with my sweet treat! However, my personal performance could've been better (I couldn't finish it; but leftovers were yum!).
