No doubt, there are better breakfasts in Austin, but if you have a meeting downtown or need to get and early start, and if you are already at the 4 Seasons, this is the place for you.

Over the course of a week-long stay at the Four Seasons, we had a couple of lunches and a dinner at TRIO. The food was excellent.

Nestled along the river, inside the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. The Trio Steakhouse offered a relaxing atmosphere in an upscale restaurant. We ordered 2 Capitol Experience dinner's for the four of us. If you are an average eater, or slightly more, then this is a...More

The staffs were friendly and attentive. The service was quick. We ordered Texas Tower (4+ people) Shrimp, Oysters, Ceviche, Lobster Salad, Tuna Tartare, King Crab Legs. Ceviche and lobster salad were really good. Popover bread was a tad burnt. Nothing special. Republic Square Salad Field...More

As the restaurant component of the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Trio is in the vicinity of the level one might expect. It looks nice, but nothing really shouts "Austin!" I don't know what that shout might entail, but I wish travelers could have something...More

First of all the food was very good. The issues we had relate to very slow service. We were not the only customers complaining about slow service. The waiter took our drink orders within 5 minutes of sitting down. After 30 minutes of sitting down...More

The food was great, but the prices are so very high even for hotel food. It is a beautiful setting with extremely professional wait staff. But all of that shouldn't add up to nearly $40 for breakfast for one.

I've never been there on Sunday, so I've never seen a buffet. I've either gone there for lunch or for drinks/happy hour. There has always been a menu at those times.
