I was excited about going to Peche, I had heard a lot about it. I took a group out for dinner. I had the Bouillabaisse, which was I thought was modest for the price and pretty average. A friend had the rabbit which they said was dry. The charcuterie board was tiny. Of the deserts, only the creme broulee was... More

Have actually been here twice and the first time seemed better. Entrees are overpriced and very rich and heavy on the sauce. Bar has beautiful ambiance and bartenders are pros!

We were a group of 4 adults in Austin for a long weekend. We are lovers of well crafted, unique cocktails. Peche was perfect for us. A huge list of absinthe is available along with a long list of pre-prohibition cocktails. A cocktail lovers delight. We also had dinner here. Quail with polenta was delicious and the owner was very... More

and great french fries (really great!) but the house-made tonic water messed up my wife's gin and tonic.

We went to Peche on a Thursday night and absolutely loved it! The charcuterie plate was like nothing I've ever had before. The liver mousse and beef tongue and patte were executed perfectly and so was the escargot! Last but not least the bartenders were fun and made the best drinks! We will defiantly be back soon.

Great place in downtown Austin for some drinks and interesting food. A fully stocked bar makes it a happening watering hole. The food options are really interesting. Appetizers: Fries, Escargots, Charcuterie (beef tongue, liver mousse, pork cheeks, sausage) The charcuterie is pretty good if you want to be adventurous. Their shrimp salad was excellent.

The food was incredible, but the bar was even better! Killer cocktail menu clearly emphasized their commitment to true cocktail mixology. Our group had a great time and would absolutely go back!

I was hoping it was just the poor service from our ineffective server, but the food couldn't even carry the night. Unfortunately all three burgers were severely overcooked, the duck confit was very dry and the only decent entree was the short ribs. Couldn't rate the pasta dish as they served the wrong one and it wasn't to the diners... More

This is a hidden gem but yet always busy. It has a great menu and one of the only places I know that specializes in absinthe drinks (even for the faint of heart). Their mixologist is always wandering around and will find the perfect taste for you if you don't know what to drink. Its a fun adventure in dining!
