The Flying Fish Arlington is downtown and close to UTA. It can get busy but they all do. We had a short wait to order and the food came shortly. It was hot and fresh and there were no mistakes. I like this location better than the Ft Worth one. We were with family and allof us had an excellent... More

If you want seafood and don't want to pay too much for it, this is the place. I really like the catfish, but they have shrimp and other types of fish as well! They even have desserts!

Waited 30 minutes on a dozen oysters we never got. Will not go back. Can get better service anywhere.

I eat at The Flying Fish atleast once a week when I am in town. Price is reasonable,,,fish is fresh...atmosphere is homey and comfortable. You have a good assortment of side dish substitutes which I like to try out. The menu is fish just about anyway you like it. You order at the counter ...get your own drinks ...receive an... More

Ate here after a long absence, and it's even better. I'm not partial to gulf oysters but got a half dozen and they were fresh and briny. The Mexican shrimp cocktail is very good and huge; I wish they deveined the shrimp in it. They do the regular. Wife likes the catfish. The fried shrimp are butterflied so very crispy... More

I always order the 6 piece fried shrimp but there is a 9 piece as well. Perfectly fried and washes down with a cold beer. Served with either veggies or fries.

This place has a very varied menu. More times than not, I get the frog legs. Huge portions, great atmosphere.

I went about 3:00 on Wednesday afternoon and had quick service. I had a margarita and it was excellent. I ordered the grilled redfish and it was over cooked and dry. It did not have a lot of seasonings on it. The grilled vegetables were alright but could have used a little more seasonings. The green beans were alright. I... More
