Stopped for lunch after grandson's baseball game. As this was a return visit, we did better w/ the "portion control" by sharing a 2-meat dinner and adding a brisket sandwich. The fried okra was fresh and hot--and the slaw had a wonderful sweet/tangy dressing--both very generous portions! The brisket is consistently trimmed, tender and tasty--and I love the sausage, which... More

Regardless whether you're eating lunch or dinner, everything is fresh cooked over 30-day old hickory. There are no left overs or reheated here. We've been frequenting David's BBQ for the better part of 30 years and have never been disappointed. David's family has been cooking BBQ for more than 100 years and the quality and taste haven't changed or been... More

I've lived in Arlington since January 1955, after moving here from Memphis, TN. Memphis has great BBQ and they're darn proud of it, rightfully so. However, when we moved to Arlington and began eating at Red Bryan's on Collins, we found out what great BBQ REALLY is! I cried, really, when Red Bryan's burnt. Thank goodness, David, or someone else... More

I had not visited David's Barbeque in maybe a year and it was like I was just there last week. David's is in my opinion the defenition of bar b que. Their ribs are always perfectly tender and falling off the bone. The sliced beef has the same light smoke taste that made me enjoy it the first time I... More

David's Barbecue is the best place to eat when visiting Arlington, Texas. Many have tried to compete but none have been able to keep up with their four generations cooking barbecue. The food is more plentiful than you will find anywhere and the tastiest. You can't go wrong eating here...especially if you want true Texas barbecue. Their meat is amazing... More

David's doesn't disappoint. From meat to sides, sauce and pitchers of beer and the ice cream with old school cones top it all off. This is a food speaks for itself kinda place. Cafeteria style line where you order your meat then self serve from their scrumptious sides (if you order a fried side like okra or onion rings they... More

This is a really good BBQ place that is family owned. The sides are good and serve yourself so you can choose how much to get. After your great meal, there is serve yourself soft-serve ice cream. Always an incentive to get the kids to eat. My place of choice for a home cooked meal.

I was born and raised in Arlington Tx and Red Bryans was located on Collins St until it burned. I love this place it is the real thing even down to the same beans. This is the best place to eat BBQ over anywhere! The place is like a step back in time and still family owned and operated for... More
