We feel the quality is very good here, which is why we overlook less than stellar service. We love to sit st the sushi bar and wish we could place orders directly to the sushi chef. The tuna tower seems a bit cliche until you...More

The Allen location is great with indoor and outdoor seating in the Watters Creek village/shopping area. Fun to sit on patio and enjoy the people passing by. But best part is the food. Everything is great but I especially enjoy the Summer Roll, Dragon Roll...More

Sometimes you just want sushi - and when you do Blue Fish is the place to go. And go early because they don't take reservations and they're always busy. We've tried Ahi Towers at many places but Blue Fish does it the best! It's a...More

The sushi here is just normal but with high price. With this high price, I expect better sushi with better taste and real wasabi. For any normal quality sushi, you can find any places with much lower price. For high quality sushi, this is certainly...More

The restaurant is OK at best. Some of the sushi is a minced crab mixed with mayonnaise so the lack of authenticity grates. Dishes are overpriced for what you receive. Some items meant to be interesting end up not being the hit they are meant...More

We were at another Dallas Blue Fish several days ago and had great Tempura dishes. This Blue Fish at Watters Creek Mall is close to our hotel, but this time we decided to just have sushi plus the Ahi Tuna Tower and Salmon Sashimi. -...More

We went here late on a Sunday afternoon, and it was not crowded. I do not know if they were understaffed, but service was slow. As in, it took a while to order our drinks, and it took longer to receive them. My order came...More

We came here with family while on vacation, and had never visited a Blue Fish restaurant before. I wasn't terribly excited because I do not like sushi, and I'm not a big fish person in general. We started with some summer rolls, edamame, and fried...More

...The opposite of a quiet, intimate sushi bar, the Blue Fish is enormous, loud, stylish and good. Where else can you find a signature roll called El Cubano ($9.50)? It's spicy pork, jalapeno, cilantro, Jalapeno pepper and carrots, with a sweet and spicy sauce. What's most refreshing here is that the menu is all Japanese -- no Thai food to confuse the palate. And to be honest, sushi purists will find plenty to keep them interested. Live specials such as Spanish mackarel, Sea Urchin, Live Hottate(scallop), Black Bass, mirugai (giant clam) and much more.Order the Ahi Tower to see just how well the kitchen can plate. It's tuna tartar and sesame oil over snow crab and avocado salad on a bed of wasabi infused rice. It's almost tragic to watch the server destroy this architectural marvel table-side to make it easier to eat. The "cake" portion of spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes in uzu and garlic sauce. It's delicious...
