We enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food didn't seem to be freshly cooked. It wasn't terrible, but we weren't crazy about our experience. We most likely will not return in the future.

Went on Sunday night. Family atmosphere. Was busy. Fried pickles were good. Fried Catfish was outstanding. Service was good.

The wife and I tried, we really tried to like this local restaurant, but it was not to be. The prices were highway robbery for the food we received. We started with a fried pickle appetizer that was the best thing of the night. The wife, a vegetarian, ordered a side salad, fried okra and the Alaskan Salmon. $17.00. The... More

Jim's has been a family favorite for decades and we still go there for great quality and portions. Fried pies to die for, and the menu satisfies anyone. A secluded, out of the way hideaway, the selection and preparation is guaranteed to please at prices you can afford. I like the steaks myself, the salads satisfy, the sides are interesting.... More

Located in an old home is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing time with friends. Casual and friendly service with great food is a perfect match. Try anything on the minu, it's all good from seafood to steaks and don't forget the vegetables, I have not had anything bad. It's a favorite place in Arlington, don't miss this one!

Ate here on a Sunday evening. Not too crowded. Food was pretty good, service was great. Save room for a fried pie. They are sprinkled with powdered sugar which is a tasty touch.

This place is awesome! The restaurant has character and the food isn't processed. They have a kids menu as well and it isn't Cysco products. The fried pickles were awesome, and the Southern BLT was original and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We found a coupon for $9 off a dinner entree, so we thought we would give this place a try. Unfortunately it was a non experience. Can't remember what we ate, our server's name or anything else about the place. Guess it is good for them that we don't recall anything negative - but we likely won't return or recommend... More

The filet Milan is absolutely fabulous! Veggies are always fresh & fried pies are delicious! They serve beer & allow you to bring your own wine. We go here regularly.

Very good home cooking! Old world charm, nothing fancy about it but the food is like something your grandma made and is DELICIOUS! Odd hours - only open for lunch and dinner. Great place!
