My wife and I had a nice weeknight dinner at Vinegar Jim's. The Blackened Catfish was great. Vinegar Jim's is an historic place. Our waiter was a pleasant young man and made sure we were satisfied with everything.
Vinegar Jim's has been around a while and has good southern food. Try the fried pies while you are there. The catfish is good as well.

Heard this place was good from a waiter at a different restaurant. Place is small but very cool environment prices were great and food excellent. Seated imdeatealy and beverage order taken. Meal order taken and arrived as ordered. Fried pies "oh yea" they were great
