McGee's has a great "pub" atmosphere. We unfortunately chose a night when there was no live music but we'll remedy that next time. The food is scrumptious. Lots of favorites to choose from. Only complaint is that we were made to feel we had to pay up as soon as 4 of the 6 guests had cleared their plates. Not... More

Good crowd for trivia, intelligent trivia--$1 per person charge was my first and with first place a mere bottle of wine for the table, disappointing as the winning table. Had a pint of, you guessed it, Guiness--good pour although Not cold. I judge a pub by its Reuben. It was lean but lacked the thickness (overwhelm me next time) I... More

This pub has become a favorite for our son and daughter-in-law and they invited us to a late lunch while we were in town. We've been to the UK, went to lots of Scottish pubs, and a few Irish pubs in Boston and other cities. McGees was a pleasant surprise! The food was very good, and the pour of Guinness... More

No blarney at McGee's, just good food at good prices, with a touch of the emerald isle at no extra charge.

We had eaten a large lunch so we were only up for appetizers and desserts. We ordered a Pot of Gold - your choice of 3 appetizers for 12.00. We got the Homemade Pimento Cheese Plate; the Welsh Rarebit (Galric Toast with Hoop Cheese); and the Bumbleshoots (hand breaded and fried mushrooms). I was especially pleased that there were fresh... When you walk in you can see they tried to decorate with Irish type things but the look and feel of the place was definitely more like country or western. The food was the real letdown though. We weren't sure whether they were trying to put their own spin on the traditional dishes or just didn't know how to prepare... More

The shepherds pie was awesome! There was some kinda funky bread with it and the coleslaw was blah but I didn't go there for bread and coleslaw. I went for the pie and it did not disappoint!

Great atmosphere with an Irish oriented menu as well as sandwiches and bar drinks. Music is offered several times a week. Great fun place to dine.
