We always stay at the Winchester Inn while enjoying Ashland. Alchemy Restaurant and Bar is the in house restaurant at the Winchester. Try any of the pasta dishes there. They are sublime.

Six of us ate at Alchemy Restaurant on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Five of us agreed that the food was absolutely terrible. My husband thinks the chef cooked the pasta in the afternoon, put it in bowls and had the dishwasher reheat it that night. Three...More

This was a fourth visit to Alchemy in as many years. Ben had scallops and a soup--strawberry and black bean gazpacho. John had a Dungeness and seaweed salad as a starter and then foie gras as his main. Alchemy is listed highly by Wine Spectator...More

There's potential here, but they have to get their act together. From the minute we walked up to the patio we could feel the chaos emanating from the waitstaff. I want to be clear from the start, I'm not blaming the waitstaff I feel like...More

I don't remember exactly how many entrees there were on the real menu, but it was quite limited. They also have a nightly special. Also, the portions are not large so you will want to add soup or salad and dessert unless... More

While we do handle groups of 15. We are not normally open for lunch but do on occasion set up luncheons with special menus. 15 is the minimal number of people for such events. The menus would be limited in scope but can... More

We can change out cheeses in some cases. It depends on the flavor profiles and the cheeses on hand.
