Not quite as cozy as I would expect for a pub, but the big fireplace is nice on a cold day. Given that there were only 2 couples there when I arrived (about 1:45 on a Monday in Jan) the service was incredibly slow. The sausages in the Bangers and Mash were fine but the potatoes and peas were bland.... More

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch and fantastic live Celtci music on Sunday afternoon. The substantial salads are fresh and filling and the burgers and fries are very tasty.

English Pub. Made for the Fraternal Order of ODDBALLS. English decor. Irish and English food. Good views of the plaza upstairs. Small town charm. A Hidden Jewel.

The young staff were fabulous and the food exceptionally good. Being Christmas time the "Pub" was decorated with old fashioned decor and the wood burning fire made for a cozy time.

Came in for a beer and ended up discussing the "Spotted Dick" dessert on the menu with the bartender:) I didn't end up ordering it but, when I was heading out the bartender told me he would save me a large one.... Hilarious! Great vibe, English Pub - bar, dining tables, couch in front of fireplace for relaxing.

This is on our "must go" list every time we're in Ashland. Sensational onion soup and pasties this time. Wonderful location overlooking main street - perfect to view holiday lights.

we stopped in for a quick lunch and had the soup of the day - potato leek. It was served with lots of fresh bread and butter and speedy service, too. would definitely go back here to have a full meal.

The food is good enough, if you have a hankering for Americanized English Pub food. The service is excruciatingly poor, and it's not very clean.

We were standing outside looking at the menu when someone told us that it was great and to go in. Upon opening the door we were presented with a imposingly steep flight of stairs. After successful negotiation of said stairs we were in a large room with a high ceiling and lots of British decor. Service was prompt and we... More

Bar none, the best fish and chips I've had in the US. Great service and really nice atmosphere. There is a very long, steep staircase to navigate coming and going--beware!
