Peerless is a beautiful restaurant located about 8 blocks downhill from the Oregon Shakespeare festival. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our meal. We started with an Aperol Spritz which consisted of a wine glass filled with ice chips and topped off with smidgen of Prosecco...More

I have eaten at the Peerless Restaurant and Bar several times over the years, and have never been impressed. I usually travel to Ashland with friends and someone always insists on the Peerless. It's not at all bad, just quite average.

Really did like the food at Peerless but our waitress was downright rude. I get that she was busy but we weren't being particularly demanding and she got quite nasty when it came time to get the check and get out of there to see...More

Dear Ms. Hill, I'm sorry if you misinterpreted our servers intent to assure your group that you had plenty of time for dessert before the theater, as rudeness. We are happy that members of your group who decided to stay and enjoy dessert mentioned how...More

It's been six or seven years since we were in Ashland and staying at the Peerless again. We did not eat at the restaurant the last visit and wanted to try it. We started at the bar with cocktails during happy hour. The bartender was...More

This was a wonderful evening that we did not want to end. Our server, Debbie paid attention to every detail. Her suggestions were amazing particularly the local Irving Chardonnay pared perfectly with all of the small plates. The food was beautifully presented and the flavor...More

Tucked away to the West of the hectic downtown scene, the Peerless Restaurant was a delightful find! It is a short walk from the hub of the Shakespeare Festival, and very much worth parking your car in the lot and walking it! There is a...More

Ashland locals love this restaurant and bar for its consistently great food, lovely garden and professional staff. Owner Chrissy Donovan is cheerful, tasteful and totally engaged with her customers.
