Based on other reviewers' comments, we tried the brussel sprouts and potato chip appetizer, the halibut and the gnocchi. The appetizer was huge and we thought we could never finish it, but guess what? That big bowl of goodness just disappeared. It was especially tasty with my dry white wine. The pistachio crusted halibut was perfect. It came with lemony... More

Dinner at Coquina was fantastic. The flavor combinations are inspired, created by someone who knows what he's doing! Every bite was savored -- the best meal we had in Ashland, among many great meals. Appetizer with By George Buncom brie in phyllo was a great contrast in light and flaky pastry and soft, smooth cheese. Carrot salad was like none... More

Exquisitely creative cuisine with a warm, welcoming staff. Good value for food that rivals the best large city restaurants.... If you're on the fence about where to eat in Ashland, Coquina will not disappoint. "And the chef made the clouds sing"

We dipped into this lovely little haunt, located in a Ashland's railroad district, for a quiet date nite. The menu is succinct, and covers some nice classics of the pacific northwest. Of note, the Gnocchi is the best I have had, true fluffy pillows layered in delightful flavor. Excellent seared scallops, no surprise with rather top end pricing. The kitchen's... More

Outstanding food and service. Good wine list. One of THE best places we have found in Southern Oregon.

We ate here for New Years Eve. The food was good and the atmosphere calm and peaceful. We loved the chips and Brussel sprout appetizer. The menu changes and appears locally sourced The service was a little erratic but friendly. We would eat here again.

Had an excellent beet salad and came back the next night for crispy brussel sprouts. Delish. Close to best food I've had in Ashland.

My husband and I found Coquina by chance last week. We were utterly delighted. He had one of the best ribeye steaks he said he's ever had and loved the soup prior to receiving his entree. I had the duck breast with the most wonderful other goodies on the plate. My first course was the delicious organic beet salad. I... More

I owe my good friend Jane a huge favor for telling me to eat at Coquina when I was in Ashland. OMG – how can that place have been there 6 years and we didn’t know about it. A totally different kind of menu. We split 2 appetizers, the blue cheese tartlet and some Oregon figs with soft creamy cheese... More

Our group all enjoyed the Brussels sprouts with chips. Apparently the scallops were amazing. My beet salad was excellent. Locally sourced meats and produce. Definitely not cheap but worth it for a special occasion. This has to be one of the best restaurants in a town of many superior eateries.
